Dr. Rachel Gierke

After receiving my doctor of veterinary medicine degree from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, I started my career in a small animal and exotics hospital in Chicago. I have been a part of the Oak Grove team for over a year now. My husband and I have three young children to keep them busy. we also share their home with Yogurt, a very independent cat, Bagel, our newest kitten and Mac, a black lab who doubles as a family pet and a hunting dog. I enjoy the great outdoors, including hiking, bicycling, and camping with my family.
